Description

This is a separate registration form for this special, limited-space activity option at the 2017 RE-AMP Network Annual Meeting. Please be sure to visit https://reamp2017.eventbrite.com to register separately for the meeting itself.

RE-AMP member Little Village Environmental Justice Organization (LVEJO) has organized this optional event in collaboration with the RE-AMP annual meeting planners, with special help from RE-AMP members Faith In Place and Illinois Environmental Council. Tour participants will be transported to the Little Village neighborhood from Loyola University (the annual meeting venue) after programs adjourn for the day on Wednesday July 12, where they will take part in the toxic tour, have dinner at a local restaurant (at attendees' own expense, like other "networking dinners"), and be transported back to Loyola University.

See details about the toxic tour from LVEJO's website:

TAKE A TOXIC TOUR!

LVEJO believes our community is an important classroom to learn about environmental justice and local solutions to climate change.

Sites on the Toxic Tour include Semillas de Justicia Community Garden, 26th & Sacramento, Cook County Jail, the Collateral Channel, and more! Come and experience the brand new La Villita Park as well. It was open to the public in December of 2014.
